The Hamilton Bowls Club was founded in 1925 and has grown to be one of the most successful and modern bowls clubs in South East Queensland. It boasts two excellent Bowls Greens with lights for Night Bowls (seasonal). Ideally situated in picturesque Hamilton, Central Brisbane, just 6km from the CBD, Hamilton Bowls Club is easily accessible by all forms of public transport. It is also nestled between over 20 motels and has close proximity to the Brisbane airport PRESIDENTS NOTES Sean Baker has been engaged as Bowls Co-Ordinator and will commence in April. All members are encouraged to make Sean welcome. Sean will be working with council to get a lot more bowls happening at Hamilton. Welcome aboard big fella. There are a lot of unfounded rumours around - So lets be clear – Hamilton BC is NOT moving to Hendra – Is NOT going broke – Is NOT being abandoned by the racing club and is NOT going away anytime soon ! Renovations to the clubhouse are nearing completion and we should be settling back in by mid April. Council is running a couple of tournaments to encourage our club players to play at Hammo. Council has determined to again play a mixed pairs competition in 2012. Nominations will be called in April. .
